well, I went back to Whitestone yesterday. The building works are finished. The sun was shining. A field mouse nibbled seed fallen from the bird table. Baby pheasants refused to budge as we drove up the track. The breeze was gentle.  Suddenly the anxiety that has underpinned my thinking for the last few weeks dissolved. We are going to spend three weeks in a beautiful place. We are going to explore and create together. We are going to be working as artists rather than squeezing being artists into an overstuffed life focussed on other things.

That seems a privilege.

I posted some photos on facebook of Whitestone and immediately got responses from round the world – people like the look of it.

All will be well.
